To help create and enhance an external environment that is
supportive of the University of Maryland.
To increase philanthropic support, strengthen the Maryland family
of alumni and friends, and enhance pride and interest in the
University among alumni and non-alumni friends, students and
potential applicants, the business community, elected officials,
civic leaders, and the citizens of Maryland.
